It is not an official Eircode, ECAD, or ECAF data product. The "Eircode" name is used here in a descriptive sense only, to refer to the Irish postcode system.

Data source

This API performs live lookups using Google Maps Platform. It does not store, cache, retain, resell, or build a database of addresses, Eircodes, business names, autocomplete predictions, coordinates, or Google Maps results. Results are provided from Google Maps Platform and must be used in accordance with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service.

Acceptable use

You may not use this API or website to scrape, cache, bulk extract, resell, redistribute, or create address, postcode, Eircode, geocoding, or places datasets. Automated bulk querying, mirroring, or any use that would breach Google Maps Platform terms is prohibited. Access may be rate-limited or revoked at any time.

No warranty

Results are provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. For authoritative Eircode validation, use the official Eircode Finder.
